The Flow Foundation handed over a cheque valued at $1 million to
the Bustamante Hospital for Children (BHC) peadiatric cancer fund during a treat hosted by the company for cancer patients on September 30, 2017. The
treat was the final in a number of activities hosted by the hospital to commemorate Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
Childhood Cancer Awareness Month was commemorated under the theme “Little super heroes, fighting big battles”.
The Head of the Haematology/Oncologist Department Dr. Sharon Salmon-Mclean expressed her sincerest appreciation to the Flow Foundation for their kind contribution, adding that it will go a far way to help parents who are unable to afford the cost associated with cancer treatment.
