Critical Equipment purchased for hospitals

The South East Regional Health Authority (SERHA) has purchased 27 patient monitors and eight ventilators valued at $38.9 Million. These equipment are expected to improve patient care delivery particularly patients who are critically ill. This is the first time the Region has purchase such a large quantity of these types of equipment. They have been distributed to seven hospitals across the Region including the Bustamante Hospital for Children, Kingston Public and Victoria Hospitals, Princess Margret, National Chest and Linstead Hospitals.
