SERHA Joins Jamaica Moves Corporate Challenge

The South East Regional Health Authority (SERHA)  is among the fifteen companies who participated in  the Jamaica Moves:Get Moving Corporate Challenge 2019 Circuit III. Over 30 participants of SERHA earned points from the Food for the Poor 5K Run/Walk Event that was held at Emancipation Park on May 19, 2019.

Public Relations Officer, SERHA (not included in picture) Ms. Shuwana Johnson, who is also the team caption said that she is very elated that SERHA is involved in the challenge. She added that the team looks forward to participating in more 5K runs for the  health benefits of exercising. "I am also happy that our contribution will help to assist hospitals in need",  she added.

The 2019 Corporate Challenge comprises five races to be held from May to July. The race circuit schedule is Food For the Poor 5K on May 19; Tru-Juice Cross-Country 5K, June 2; Everyone’s A Winner/The Best Dressed Chicken 5K and 10K, June 16; School’s Out 5K on June 29, and the Welcome to Kingston 5K, July 14. SERHA will be participating at three additionally races from the circuit.
