Bustamante Hospital to Get Drug Serv Pharmacy

Dr. the Hon. Christopher Tufton (second left), Minster of Health & Wellness broke ground for the construction of a new Drug Serv Pharmacy on Friday, July 7, 2019 along with (L-R) Mr. Everton Anderson, Chief Executive Officer, National Health Fund; Ms. Camile Wallen-Panton, Acting Chief Executive Officer, Bustamante Hospital for Children and Mr. Andrew Swaby, Councillor Vineyard Town Division. 

A new Drug Serv Pharmacy is to be constructed at the Bustamante Hospital for Children at a cost of over $50 million. Speaking at the contract signing and ground breaking ceremony at the hospital’s compound on Friday, July 5, 2019. Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr. the Hon. Christopher Tufton, said that the project is in keeping with the Government’s commitment to advance       paediatric health care.

The project is being funded by the NHF and the work is expected to be completed within the next eight months.
