The Musson Foundation, in partnership with T Geddes Grant and the Woman's Club, has provided the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) and Victoria Jubilee
Hospital (VJH) with 30 2000-gallon water tanks. The hospitals management have provided two water pumps to facilitate proper functioning of the tanks, and have managed the installation. The tanks which are valued at over $4 million, will ensure that adequate water is available at the institutions for the sterilization of instruments, preventing delays in surgical procedures and
maintaining established infection control standards, in the event that there is no water coming from the main supply.
The official handing over ceremony took place on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the VJH lobby.
