The Urology Department at the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) received a cheque valued at $1 million on Wednesday, (August 12, 2020) from the Jamaica Medical Foundation (JMF). The money will be used to purchase much needed equipment to enhance the urology services at the KPH. Dr. Gafoor extends profound appreciation to the foundation for the generous donation to the Urology Department that will improve the team's ability to perform more life-saving procedures like hemorrhages from urinary tract, prostate and bladder cancers.
