The Brown's Hall Health Centre is the 10th facility within SERHA to benefit under the Ministry of Health and Wellness' Adopt-A-Clinic programme.
Kemtek Development and Constructions Limited and Omni Industries has constructed the facility, at a cost $35 million for the renovation of the facility. The donors partnered with the Ministry of Health and Wellness and the National Health Fund to design the building. The donors has committed to adopting the facility over the next three years at a cost of $3 million.
The Type I clinic, located at Brown's Hall offers, Maternal and Child Health, Dressing, Immunization, Family Planning, Curative, Doctor’s clinic (once a month by visiting a doctor) and Pap smear.
In his remarks at the official adoption ceremony on Wednesday, December 1, 2020, Health and Wellness Minister Dr Christopher Tufton said that as a result of their donation over 20,000 residents will have access to primary health care in their community.
He added that this is another example of why partnerships are important and how partnerships work to benefit the people.
