Mr. Errol Greene, Acting Regional Director, SERHA

Mr. Errol Greene is currently the Acting Regional Director in the South East Regional Health Authority (SERHA), effective May 3, 2021. He was the former Regional Director for the Western Regional Health Authority during the period April 2018 to May 2021.

Mr. Greene has several years of experience in the health care system in Jamaica and was the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Kingston Public and Victoria Jubilee Hospitals .He functioned in the capacity of Secretary Manager of the St. Thomas Parish Council during the period July 2004 to February 2014. He was also a former Town Clerk of the Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAC) from 1999 up to the time of his movement to the St. Thomas Parish Council.

Under the leadership of Mr. Greene as the Regional Director for the Western Region, several major improvements have been made to the Cornwall Regional Hospital in Montego Bay. He was a recipient of the Governor General’s Achievement Award and he is a Justice of the Peace for the parish of Kingston.He is currently a Board Member of the Lay Magistrates Association of Jamaica and serves as the Board Chairman for the Golden Age Home in Kingston. He brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic vision, which will be critical in advancing the Region's ability to enhance patient care delivery and to meet the growing demand of the largest Regional Health Authority.

The overall role of the Regional Director oversees all operation that governs the Health Authority at the Regional level in the Ministry of Health & Wellness.
